In Jaipur, Rajasthan, Tata Motors on Tuesday opened Re.Wi.Re—Recycle with Respect—its first registered vehicle scrapping facility (RVSF).

The Hon’ble Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, officially opened this cutting-edge facility, which can unbend 15,000 vehicles annually. For the unscratched and sustainable dismantling of end-of-life vehicles, it uses top-notch, environmentally friendly processes.
According to the company, it was created and is run by Tata Motors’ partner, Ganganagar Vaahan Udgog Pvt. Ltd., to dispose of obsolete passenger and commercial vehicles from all brands.
Gadkari said, “The National Vehicle Scrappage Policy was introduced to promote a circular economy by creating an ecosystem for phasing out unfit and polluting vehicles and to unzip a lower stat footprint in the country by replacing them with greener and increasingly fuel efficient vehicles.”
